About Us and the Tour

Liverpool Beatles Tours was formed in 2003 in response to the growing numbers of Beatles Fans coming to Liverpool to find out more about the birthplace of the most famous pop group in music history - the Beatles.

Where was John Lennon born? Where did Paul McCartney go to school? Where did George Harrison live? Where did Ringo Starr grow up? Now, Beatles fans are wanting to discover more, not just about the Fab Four, but about The Quarrymen, Stuart Sutcliffe, Pete Best, Brian Epstein and everyone and everywhere connected with the Beatles. Where did they play? Where did they practice?

We realise that there are excellent Beatles tours available so we decided  to provide a more personal, flexible service for Beatles fans. Our tour provides a luxury Ford Galaxy car which will take the driver, tour guide and up to 5 passengers. This means that we can  personalise the tour to your needs; answer questions en route and at each destination, and stop to take photos and really get a feel of those places that were instrumental in developing the phenomenon that was, and still is, The Beatles.

Our Team

Ian Crabtree is a driver and guide and has an incredible knowledge of Merseyside, having been involved in the Private Hire taxi business for many years, as both a driver and an office manager.Jane Enenko, joins us as a guide she is fluent in Russian, as well as French and English. Tim Hemmings also joins us as a qualified guide and he is fluent in Spanish !
